The Winterode Building, located in Crownsville, Maryland, is located within the State Hospital grounds has been renovated to be used as a multi-use building including an Alternative High School, the Criminal Investigation Division and numerous other County Offices. Also this site was used for research into different types of GreenRoof utilizing both Extensive and Semi-Intensive vegetation and traditional roofing.
